‘Burns, Bannocks and Blues’ at the Burns Festival

Fiddler’s Bidding – provided an excellent evening’s entertainment on Wed 26th May 2010 at the Burnside Guest House as part of this year’s Burns and A’ That Festival.
 Fiddlers Bidding

Fiddlers Bidding is a father and daughter music duo specialising in Scottish Traditional Music. They appeared at the Burnside Guest House and entertained about 30 guests with a selection of Burns songs. Then after a splendid buffet supper, they resumed with a more contemporary feel, focusing on the development of the Blues.
Joclyns’s singing was accompanied by her father on guitar and harmonica (not a fiddle in sight!). It was a really wonderful evening enjoyed by one and all.
