Liz is a fantastic host and made us feel at home. We were also spoilt for choice with the breakfasts.

I found this guest house by coincidence, and I must say that its a little gem. I’m a traveller and stayed in countless hotels and hostels around the world and this place is probably one of the nicest ones I had the pleasure to stay at. I will definitely come back and recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to visit Ayrshire. Thank you for the enjoyable stay.

This was my second stay at the Burnside, I wouldn’t even consider looking elsewhere if I could not stay here I would rather change my trip dates . The Burnside is conveniently situated in a quiet street, close to the beach and a short walk from Ayr’s many amenities. The rooms in this period property have been beautifully restored and Liz is always an excellent host. This is my favourite place to stay whenever I have business in Ayrshire.

We cannot speak highly enough about The Burnside, it was our final stop after a 10 day holiday touring Scotland and what a perfect end to a lovely holiday. We hadn’t pre-booked so what a little gem to find by chance. The guesthouse has been tastefully decorated and has an air of tranquility about it. The room was immaculately clean, and it is within minutes of the beach and town.

The proprieter Liz made us feel really welcome and couldn’t do enough to help and make our stay comfortable. So thankyou Liz, this will hopefully be our first holiday of many to Scotland and you will be our first booking next time.

Run by a truly lovely lady nothing too much trouble. Would deffinately go back.
